“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else
is the greatest accomplishment."
Ralph Waldo Emerson
Being yourself isn't easy sometimes. We each have unique images, expectations and patterned beliefs that shape us. It can be easy to want to be a certain kind of person. It can be easy to really really want it. Actually, being who you want to be, that best version of yourself, requires a commitment to dedicated self care, including Practice. It's not something that happens without care & diligence.
A continuing yoga practice tends to remind you. Remind you to breathe, remind you to lift your heart and remind you of your best self. Practice and then return to practice again and again- whether it's once a week or 7 days a week- Practice making it best serve You! Cultivate the self love and discipline to carve out the time to refill Your Well. Your Yoga Practice reminds you to listen to your body. It reminds you to honor it and appreciate it. Many of us spend so much time- in our own ways- tending to others with such dedication that we tend to neglect ourselves.
Yoga helps remind you that you need to refill Your Well before you can refill others'. When we become overextended, over worked and over committed we begin getting cranky, resentful and not as present. Sometimes this pattern gets repeated so many times without reFilling Your Well that you may not remember at all why you serve those you do... even the airlines know... affix your oxygen mask before helping those around you...
The breath and body awareness, the learning to honor and appreciate your body in each and every Yoga practice tends to flow over into your daily life - ReFilling Your Well- Empowering You to be the best version of Yourself.
Yoga Empowers.
Your breath Empowers.
Let it Empower You!
